As someone who is always deep in the feels, music is a necessity. I write to find release and grounding. I share my music in hopes that I can help others feel a bit of that too. Genuine connection starts with openness and non-judgement, and we all need community to be ok and to thrive. So let’s get real with each other, share our stories, and let go of what we don’t need anymore. A bit of an update from me - I moved to Auckland, NZ for my PhD in Geology. After an unexpected year & a half at home in Calgary, both tough and lovely, I’m excited to be moving along and starting a new adventure. Did you hear about the volcanic eruption in Tonga that sent tsunamis and shock waves around the world on January 15th, 2022? Well, I’m now on a big collaborative research team trying to figure out what caused the extreme and unexpected explosivity! Pretty fun nerdy stuff. Aside from uni, I’ve been getting outdoors lots, teaching music lessons, and practicing and teaching yoga. I did my 200 hour teacher training with Awakening Yoga Academy in spring 2021, and am stoked to be sharing this practice both online and in person here in Auckland soon too. Final thing I’ll add for now - there are some home-recordings slow-brewing that I cannot wait to share with you once they’re ready!
